positive review: the book was really, really good! I tried to finish it as fast as I could so I could start the next book in the series to see what happens! When I finish this series, i'm going to find more books by these talented authors.

negative review: I didn't like how fast Zoey and Erik's relationship went from strangers to boyfriend and girlfriend. if they had some type of romantic bond that made them instantly fall in love with each other that'd be ok, but instead it went from strangers, to making out without going on any dates and getting to know each other at all.

overall review: it was an awesome read and once I finish the series I might have to read it again it was sooooo good!

summary: Zoey is Marked. she has one of two options to choose from, stay at home and die, or go to the house of night where she still might die but will have a better chance at living.

she escapes to her grandmas, before step-loser can call in the elders/people of faith to deal with her. but before reaching grandma, she hits her head and goes unconscious. Nyx, the goddess, her, or does she?

now zoey is a double freak, strange things happen at the house of night.

Darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good.
